Sustainability West Midlands (SWM) is the region's leading sustainability network, representing organisations committed to environmental responsibility across the West Midlands. With a growing membership base, SWM faced a persistent challenge: their membership logo — a key symbol of credibility — was being misused, displayed by lapsed members, and difficult to verify at scale.

Traditional paper certificates and static digital logos offered no way for stakeholders to confirm whether a member's accreditation was current, valid, or still active.

The Solution

SWM partnered with Sigalmark to transform their membership mark into a blockchain-backed, real-time verifiable digital credential. Each member now receives a unique Sigalmark — an NFT-backed QR code that links directly to the Sigalmark verification portal.
